Factors That Affect Movies’s Longevity

Movies are among the most influential elements in our modern world. From introducing new ideas to teaching the average person films are sure to influence the general population. Since the invention of the the first motion film in the 1890s the movies have been the visual record of human development. When it comes to movies made for entertainment Here is an excerpt from Pulitzer Prize winner film critic Roger Ebert:

“We live in a box of space and time. Movies are windows in its walls. They allow us to enter other minds not simply in sense of identifying with the characters, but by seeing the world as another person sees it.”

Roger once stated that art was the closest thing we can get to understanding what the other person feels. Movies as an amalgamation of both visual and audio forms of art creates an extremely sophisticated and complex art form.

It is evident that films have on our thinking process. After we leave a theater after watching a movie we are left with a specific sort of thoughts that are based on the film we have watched. In the course of our daily life, we are swept through a myriad of emotional and social aspects that help us remain human. We are surrounded by numerous colors and different variations of human characteristics, yet we don’t recognize or appreciate it, as we are caught up in our work.

This is why films are a wonderful reminder of who is in us and what we’ve got. Let’s take “Forrest Gump” for instance that depicts the innocence one man, who has the desire to create something from himself regardless of his flaws. Or the more recent one “Happythankyoumoreplease”, which shows characters, no different from the ones in our neighborhood.

The characters of the reel world aren’t any different from our world, and the problems they confront are a re-creation of what we have to have to face. Films help us comprehend life from different angles.

Let’s take the latest historical period films and old classics, they represent how things were back in times gone by. They are, for us ordinary folks, a way to remind us of our history as well as a source for reminiscence and nostalgia.

There are films like “Blade Runner” which give an insight into what things might be in the near future, and others that allow us to laugh and have an enjoyable time. In addition to educating us, and making us laugh, to warn us about the possible events that may be affecting us, films are able to influence our thinking and actions.

The field of film as a technology has evolved from a basic quickly moving collection of pictures to an intricate business. Due to the ever-growing technology’s acceptance, films have become a element of our lives. For instance, in a casual conversation with friends or the daily news films are among the main topics of debate.

The primary purpose of movies is entertainment films in general are also regarded as an unofficial source for learning. A lot of people learn more from films than any other source even though that could seem to be an exaggeration. In many countries that are not developed, films and TV shows are employed as a method to educate the populace for social change and overall shift. There is no doubt that there is the wide range of movies however, this can be detrimental since not every film has the same moral values.

Films that fall within the categories of historical drama, historical war films and biopics are often criticised for their sloppy handling of historical facts. These films are accused of manipulating the facts to highlight events and produce interesting films.

One such film includes “Pearl Harbor”, which was released in the face of a great deal of criticism. With filmmakers taking such freedom with historical issues, it’s both irresponsible and unforgiveable. In the wake of such films, viewers are led to believe that a story is real and that isn’t an excellent thing.

In contrast,, there are films that fall in the genres of action and horror that are often criticized for their violent content. Directors such as Quentin Tarantino in Hollywood and Anurag Kashyap from Bollywood have their own motives and rational arguments regarding these films’ content.

In spite of their rational explanations, it is a fact that exposure to violence could create personality disorders in children and other demographics that are receptive. There are appropriate processes for selection and allotting categories the film is subjected to prior to the release date to limit negative effects. But their effectiveness is dependent on the way in which they are implemented.

Many times, movies are viewed as waste of time and a waste of money. It’s not a bad idea in its own right, but it is important to be aware that there are millions of films in one genre, and there are many types.

While not all are worthy of our attention, they do not all merit our attention either. Therefore, it is on us to pick the one that’s worthy of our time. The choice of films varies with each person. Every genre is targeted at a particular type of viewers.

Every piece of Art can be subject to the viewer’s personal interpretation and perception, movies are no exception. As with all works of art the films are bound to have a particular viewpoint and agenda. Films are the most expressive of all types of art, and as such, they are able to cover an enormous population without prejudices based on colour, age or geographical region. Film makers benefit by giving them the ability to impress the vast audience with their creative ideas. But, it is up to the audience to pick the best film.

A film that isn’t given a clear direction can be a disaster because most times , it is the director who decides the character of the movie. Through proper coordination with his co-workers, director creates an amazing work that is a reflection of our lives and mentality. We will be transported to a new world entirely. This is the ultimate satisfaction of watching a film. In other words, it’s an unproductive wasted time.

But, aside from the specifics of the making of a movie it self, there are numerous elements that influence its relationship to the public. One example could be “The Room” which released in 2003 as an independent film. The script was written by and produced by Tommy Wiseau, who also was a part of the film.

The movie was totally slammed by critics, but it made a profit. There are other DC films like “Suicide Squad” and “Justice League” that despite critiques continue to make large sums. The reason for this is the subject matter, though badly done is of great importance to people who love DC comics.

However, her true son Bhallaladeva and her husband do not agree with her desires. The husband begins to incite Bhallaladeva’s actions against her. This is the pivotal moment in the film.

The Queen Mother gives instructions to Amarendra as well as Katappa to travel around of their kingdom to learn more about their subjects and to improve their well-being. Amarendra is introduced to Devasena and is drawn to her beauty and abilities. They are in love with one the other. Then, the news reaches Bhallaladeva and he devises plans to bring about the divergences among Shivagami as well as Amarendra.

He tells his mother he is in love with Devasena , and expresses his desire to get married. The proposal is made to Devasena via his side by Shivagami and is denied by Devasena. The Queen is angry by this defiance of Devasena, and orders Amarendra to take her, lock her in prison and bring her before the Maahishmati’s court. Maahishmati.

Amarendra assists and shields Kuntala’s kingdom Kuntala from the enemies known as Pindaris. Amarendra’s skills are exceptional. Amarendra can defeat Pindaris and protects the Kuntala kingdom. Devasena was interested to learn about the truth of the matter and demanded to discover his identity.

She discovers the fact that Amarendra is the king to come of Maahishmati and is determined to not be the prisoner. He promises to guard her modesty and marry her. They both quit to Maahishmati. Shivagami is shocked to discover the truth and is satisfied with the revelation. In the midst of this, she is resentful for not keeping her word to Bhallaladeva. This is the point that the turning point in the story can be seen in the film.

The tensions among Shivagami and Amarendra start at the moment they meet. In the next few days, Shivagami demands Amarendra to quit the kingdom along with his wife, who is pregnant.

Through the use of evil thoughts Bijjaladeva succeeds in causing more divisions between them. In one case Bijjaladeva claims that Amarendra attempts to murder Bhallaladeva to make him the King. Katappa demands Katappa to murder Amarendra in secret so that the kingdom can be saved from a conflict within the royal household as well as the people. In the end,

Amarendra is killed by Katappa and the queen is warned about the deceitful notions that are the product of Bijjaladeva along with Bhallaladeva and her error in making judgments about herself and her people. In the in the meantime, Devasena gives birth to a son and returns to the palace having learned of the passing of her husband. Shivagami declares the born baby is Mahendra Baahubali, the future king of Maahishmati.

Bhallaladeva is shocked and commands his troops to capture the queen, murder her baby and detain Devasena. The Queen flees the palace and soon dies. The infant is rescued by the ordinary people and is named Shivudu. He soon learns about his mother, Devasena, who is imprisoned from Katappa and is in love with Avantika. He fights to stop injustice and prevails at the final.
